Tiger Cubs 60/365
Feb 28, 2017
So it was another early morning with Myrtle today:) We went to the Milwaukee County Zoo for a small childs class. It's amazing how toddlers know WAY more than you think they do. I told her last night we were going and this morning she woke up all giggles and smiles, extra energy.
Todays class was all about big cats. The cheetah, lion and tiger. Myrt LOVES big cats, she roars everytime they are on T.V., loves em. The class wasn't really a class per se, just a bunch of other 18month olds in the cat house singing tiger/lion themed nursery rhymes, but heck, the excitement on her face when the first cheetah ran to the window!
The class was only 45min or so and they host one once a month. Can't wait to take her. She has been learning her animals lately, though she can't say the names, she can point to what the animals are in a book. They had an exhibit with 4 tiger cubs in it and it was the most amazing thing. Like, gigantic kittens pouncing and playing the whole time.
Halfway through the class the female lion started really roaring like crazy, this in turned caused lots of the little people to roar along:)
She got the tiger in the picture when she was about 10 months old during her first trip to the zoo. She has cherished it ever since. While strolling her past the vendors she would point and point and point at it, so of course I caved and she has loved it ever since.
5 light setup tonight, I added an extra speedlight to help illuminate the paws of the tiger and turned the back E640 around to give more back illumination.
Since today is the last of the month, I printed as reference again this months' pictures. March will be more street focused, but I haven't decided if that should start tomorrow, or once I get overseas. Guess we'll see.......
