Back in the Studio (and hopefully back to work)
June 29, 2017
Well, I haven't been shooting much products lately. After coming back from Korea I left the studio a disaster and kind of just focused on spring projects and getting out and enjoying the weather with Myrt. The 365 project slowly kept disappearing from my radar and eventually I let it go. After missing one day, it was easier to miss 2 days, then a week, weeks turned to months until a couple weeks ago. I was miserable and needed to shoot again. Now, granted I hadn't abandoned photography, just haven't been posting to the blog as much. This will be a broader scope and not as rigid as here's a shot, diagram and the likes. But.... in case you were wondering....
Below are some highlights to catch up on the past couple months
We found out we are having a boy!
Baked my first batch of cookies from scratch
Fairy Day at the Milwaukee Domes Botanical
Tried my hand at baking and it turns out it's really not that hard! Haven't made any tutorials just yet but it's on the list of things to do.
Started working at my Uncle's bar once a week to get out of the house. And, well being a photographer shot some social media stuff for him. (including the header image)
Got to bust out some more splashes for a family members Bday present! And found out they are going to be included in the Sundrop Museum in Shawano, WI (yup bet you didn't know there was one)
I'm sure there are more highlights, but I think that should just about do it. That being said it's time to keep writing/shooting. I always have to remind myself that the career of a photographer is a marathon, not a race. Even during the slow times to keep practicing and not give up.
